Program Development
I had already created an entire marketing and community relations program at the National Institutes of Health. I took the same skillsets to manage the campaign of a state delegate. This opportunity allowed me to work with brilliant, passionate advocates in my community by providing structure and processes to ensure this machine hummed along. This provides efficiencies and accountability.
Setup & context
At the beginning of the campaign, we identified key "kitchen cabinet" advisors, community stakeholders, and strategic goals. Everyone was busy, passionate, and skilled in their expertise.
The challenge & problem PROCESS
Busy schedules and conflicting ideas can cause chaos. I connected with the key players to work towards the same goal. I created processes, standard operating procedures, a clean organizational system, and evaluation methods to continuously collect data to drive our actions in the most cost- and time-efficient ways possible. I instilled a "customer service" framework to ensure constituents felt heard and validated, no matter their feedback.
Launch, impact, results
We have unprecedented engagement from young voters who are excited about the future. We are staying on track with strategic goals by using the frameworks and processes created, even when everyone is busy with their day jobs and families.
